KPIRG Opt Out

KPU students who do not wish to be members of KPIRG can receive a membership fee refund. Students who receive this refund will no longer be members of KPIRG and will not be able to access the resources available.

The walk-in fee refund dates will be after the KPU withdrawal/no refund period commences from each semester, and will run for 4 consecutive business days, from 12pm – 4pm

Refund amounts will be calculated based credit registration per semester.

In order to receive a refund, students must come by in person or email and provide the following:

  1. Students will be required to fill out an opt out form (Mail in Form or Walk in Form)
  2. Receipt of fee payment dated within the opt out dates indicating total tuition credits paid (the detailed breakdown of tuition and fees is available from the KPU/myKwantlen website).
  3. Able to produce a Valid Student I.D. card.

Students cannot collect a fee refund on another student’s behalf.
