KPU students who do not wish to be members of KPIRG can receive a membership fee refund. Students who receive this refund will no longer be members of KPIRG and will not be able to access the resources available.
The walk-in fee refund dates will be after the KPU withdrawal/no refund period commences from each semester, and will run for 4 consecutive business days, from 12pm – 4pm
Refund amounts will be calculated based credit registration per semester.
In order to receive a refund, students must come by in person or email and provide the following:
- Students will be required to fill out an opt out form (Mail in Form or Walk in Form)
- Receipt of fee payment dated within the opt out dates indicating total tuition credits paid (the detailed breakdown of tuition and fees is available from the KPU/myKwantlen website).
- Able to produce a Valid Student I.D. card.
Students cannot collect a fee refund on another student’s behalf.
